Spencer Cohn joined Weitzman in December 2018. Spencer works out of our New York City offices and focuses on valuations, marketability analysis and feasibility analysis for multifamily, mixed-use and commercial assets throughout the United States. Prior to joining Weitzman, he worked as a commercial real estate appraiser for a locally based appraisal company, evaluating multifamily and mixed-use assets in the New York City Metro. He also worked for a local property management company, assisting in the day-to-day management of office, retail and multifamily assets. Spencer was also a Loan Officer Assistant at Flushing Bank, where he analyzed over $2 billion in commercial real estate financing requests ranging between $1.5 million and $50 million each.
Spencer received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Economics with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate from Lehigh University in 2014. Spencer is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Real Estate Development with a concentration in sustainability from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
