Michael Merwin joined Weitzman as a Senior Associate in December 2018. He has a strong background in real estate market research and analysis for new luxury residential developments.
Prior to joining Weitzman, Mr. Merwin was a Research Analyst with Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. While at Corcoran Sunshine, Mr. Merwin performed market analysis to aid developers in the planning, financing, marketing, and pricing of luxury residential developments in New York City. In addition to his client-based work, Mr. Merwin was responsible for writing and publishing several quarterly reports for the Downtown Manhattan, Manhattan Townhouse, and Palm Beach markets.
Before joining Corcoran Sunshine, Mr. Merwin worked in property management with Boston Properties. While at Boston Properties, Mr. Merwin was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a 3 million square foot Class A office portfolio in Cambridge, MA.
Mr. Merwin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
