Michael Hon

Michael Hon joined Weitzman in January 2022 and is an Assistant Vice President based in New York City. He specializes in hospitality consulting, providing marketability studies, feasibility analyses, development advisory, and investment advisory services to clients.

Michael brings extensive experience in the hotel industry, with exposure to both domestic and international resorts and urban hotels spanning the full spectrum from economy to ultra-luxury. He focuses on conducting site-specific marketability studies and highest and best use analyses for hotel and branded residential developments.

Prior to joining Weitzman, Michael was part of the finance and business support division at Accor’s Canadian headquarters, where he coordinated the budgeting process for North and Central America and analyzed portfolio performance data to benchmark Accor’s luxury hotel portfolio.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration with a Minor in Real Estate from Cornell University.
